CPF Volunteer Chaplaincy Certification

EVERYONE IS WELCOMED TO PARTNER with CPF in offering help and hope to the 7.3 million adults behind bars, on probation, or on parole, plus the growing number of youth offenders in North America, and their families. ANYONE CAN Become a Prayer Partner, Member Partner, Volunteer Partner, or a “Hero in the Harvest” without any further commitment of any kind.

However, for those seeking Volunteer or Chaplaincy Certification with CPF, a higher level of commitment and qualification is necessary. In an effort to provide correctional facilities with well-trained volunteers and chaplains of the highest professional quality, CPF believes it is vital for individuals to be faithful and active in a local church, and offers certification only to individuals approved for certification by their Pastor.

In order to maintain continuity of ministry and the highest volunteer and ministerial ethics, CPF currently offers certification only as outlined in the guidelines listed for each level of CPF certification and as outlined herein.
